WILLIAMSTOWN (AUSTRALIA) – Jessica Allen ha vinto la terza e ultima prova del Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic a Williamstown regalando il secondo successo consecutivo alla Orica-Scott. A due giri dalla conclusione l’attacco promosso dalla Allen insieme ad altre due atlete che poi nel finale è riuscita a togliersi di ruota tagliando il traguardo a braccia alzate.

Braccia al cielo e grande gioia anche per l’italiana Valentina Scandolara, vincitrice della prova inaugurale, oggi quarta e quindi prima nella classifica finale a punti.

WILLIAMSTOWN (AUSTRALIA) – All’ultima occasione, il 22enne talento australiano Caleb Ewan non si fa sfuggire l’opportunità di lasciare nuovamente il segno al Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic. Il corridore della Orica-Scott ha vinto oggi sul traguardo di Williamstown la terza e ultima prova della corsa australiana che ha inaugurato il nuovo anno ciclistico.

PORTARLINGTON (AUSTRALIA) – Sul traguardo della seconda prova del Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic, a Portarlington, Michael Hepburn regala la prima vittoria dell’anno all’Orica-Scott. Decisiva una fuga a quattro, della quale faceva parte anche il leader Ian Bibby (JLT Condor), ma a fare la differenza nel finale è stato proprio l’australiano della Orica che si è presentato tutto solo all’arrivo precedendo di 6 secondi proprio Bibby che ha però mantenuto il primato in classifica.

PORTARLINGTON (AUSTRALIA) – La campionessa d’Australia Amanda Spratt ha vinto solitaria la seconda prova della Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic con arrivo a Portarlington. Giornata dominata dalle ragazze della Orica-Scott che hanno monopolizzato il podio. L’italiana Valentina Scandolara, vincitrice ieri della prima prova e oggi sesta, resta al comando della classifica generale a punti della corsa che si concluderà domani.

GEELONG (AUSTRALIA) – La prima vittoria dell’anno ciclistico 2017 porta la firma di Ian Bibby (JTL Condor) che oggi ha vinto la prima prova criterium della Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic.

Il britannico ha superato Jesse Kerrison (IsoWhey Sports SwissWellness) e il compagno Mathew Gibson. L’australiano Caleb Ewan, vincitore di tre edizioni della corsa, è rimasto vittima di una caduta. Nei prossimi giorni le altre due prove per la classifica a punti.

GEELONG (AUSTRALIA) – Ancora una volta la veronese Valentina Scandolara (Alé Cycling) comincia con il passo giusto la stagione dall’Australia. L’italiana ha vinto allo sprint la prima prova criterium della Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic.
Ha superato le compagne di fuga Shannon Malseed e Jessica Allen (ORICA-Scott).
